NetSuite Accounting & Reporting

Close books in days, not weeks, with NetSuite built for e-commerce.

Most NetSuite accounts were not configured for marketplace volume. We automate how orders, refunds, fees and payouts post, using SuiteScript 2.x, RESTlets and saved searches, so your ledger reflects what actually happened on each channel. Brands we work with close their books in about three days.

What's included
3×Faster month-end close

The shift

From manual workarounds to automated by default

Before Audaxim AI

  • Month-end close drags on for weeks
  • Marketplace fees buried in lump-sum deposits
  • Inconsistent use of cash sales, invoices and credit memos
  • Channel P&L rebuilt in spreadsheets every month
  • Saved searches that time out or disagree with each other

After Audaxim AI

  • Books closed in about three days
  • Fees, refunds and reserves posted to the right GL accounts
  • Consistent posting rules for every channel
  • Channel and SKU-level P&L available in NetSuite
  • Reports finance and ops both rely on

Capabilities

Everything included in NetSuite

Posting rule design

We define when to use cash sales versus invoices, how refunds become credit memos or cash refunds, and how marketplace fees map to expense accounts.

SuiteScript 2.x automation

User event, scheduled and map/reduce scripts handle high-volume transaction creation, approvals and field defaults without manual touch.

RESTlets & SuiteQL

Custom RESTlets expose clean endpoints for integrations, and SuiteQL queries pull large datasets faster than traditional saved searches.

Settlement journal entries

Amazon, Walmart and Shopify payouts are broken into sales, fees, refunds, reserves and adjustments and posted as balanced journal entries tied to the bank deposit.

Saved searches & dashboards

Optimized saved searches, KPI portlets and role-based dashboards give finance and ops the same numbers, refreshed in real time.

Sync log & audit trail

Every record our integrations create is logged with its source payload and NetSuite internal ID, so auditors and controllers can trace any transaction.

How we deliver

A clear path from audit to always-on

  1. 01

    Account & close review

We walk through your chart of accounts, subsidiaries, current posting logic and close checklist to find where time and accuracy are lost.

  2. 02

    Accounting design

Together with your controller, we document posting rules, GL mappings and reports before a single script is written.

  3. 03

    Build in sandbox

Scripts, RESTlets and saved searches are built in your NetSuite sandbox and validated against a prior closed month.

  4. 04

    Deploy & support close

We deploy to production, support your first automated close, and monitor the NetSuite sync log on an ongoing basis.

FAQ

NetSuite questions, answered

Do we need a NetSuite partner in addition to you?

Not for e-commerce accounting and reporting work. We handle scripting, integrations, saved searches and dashboards directly, and we are happy to coordinate with an existing partner who manages the rest of your account.

Will you change our chart of accounts?

Only where it is needed to report marketplace activity correctly, and only with your finance team's approval. Most changes are additions, such as fee or reserve accounts, rather than restructuring.

Can you fix historical data, or only future transactions?

Both. We can reprocess past settlement periods to correct postings, which is often done so a clean opening balance exists before automation starts.

How much faster will our close actually be?

Brands we work with typically see a 3× faster month-end close, finishing in about three days. The result depends on how much of your close is marketplace-driven and how clean your starting data is.
